Vancouver, WA April 3, 2024 — LaCenter resident, retired educator and active community volunteer, Joe Bosch, joins the Advisory Council for the Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities of Southwest Washington (AAADSW).

“Joe is a great addition to the Advisory Council,” said Mike Reardon, executive director of AAADSW.  “As a former educator, he understands the support and resources families need to help care for each other as they age in place.”

“The stress in family caregiving for a parent can take a toll on families,” said Bosch. “I want to help families learn how to make it easier so they can enjoy each other for as long as they can.”

A Clark County resident since 1991, Bosch retired from career in education. Originally, he worked in sales and marketing for 25 years before going back to college to get his degree in Education. He taught math, science and horticulture in middle school. He also taught for one year in Egypt and a semester in Uganda. In addition, he coached the middle school wrestling team for 15 years.

Bosch has a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s in school administration. He is currently an assistant coach for Woodland Youth Wrestling.
